Fee: The state's $15.00 Statement of Marriage or Divorce buys a statement, not a certified copy, so it does not satisfy the license office and no state fee is printed as the price of the document the customer needs. Missouri does not publish a central fee for county-issued certified copies; the Recorder of Deeds or Circuit Clerk sets and quotes it. DHSS states plainly that "there are some types of vital records only available at the county level".
